The
Plot
Corinna tried to explain the plot to Hugh and me,
but we left that rehearsal pretty well mystified.
Corinna's English is at least a hundred times better than my German.
So I think language difficulty was not the main factor in our confusion.
There was just some difficulty in immediately transporting ourselves
to this far off space/time populated
with someone else's mythic gods and monsters with ineffable motives and agendas.
As I remember it, we were given a sketchy music timesheet
and a plot synopsis that contained elements of the text below.*

This version of the synopsis was written
by Corinna for the later show next to The Frying Pan
on Pier 63, Manhattan in June,
but it is essentially the same one we were working from)
The Statue Theme

OK, I think
I was able to follow the story this far.
The
Real Audio below is Kim as the Statue
introducing this sad cautionary tale of the Sinomen.

I'm pretty
much hanging in there now,
but then I've seen the show three times.

The two headed worm above may be representational
of this "plurality." But don't hold me to it.

Brutotron is a rather sensual, if nasty, entity
with an enormous womb.
It swells and ripples blue and enormous behind her
like that of an eternally birthing queen termite.
