The Statue
Theme was sampled from Elettra's aria
in Mozart's Idomeneo, Sylvia Sass, soprano.
I hope she doesn't mind.
Plus Hugh Mann vocals and jaw harp.

The Sinomen Theme
was created by sampling a melody
composed by Hugh on his clarinet.
Then I pitch shifted and layered it in my sampler
and triggered the various samples live at the performance.

The Brutotron
Theme is pure Hugh Mann.
He first laid down a rhythm with his voice,
and layered a hand drum and a jaw harp on top of it.
Then he deleted his voice track and added the close miked
sound of crumpling beans in a plastic bag.
We were thinking that the bean sounds reminde us of an
insect emerging from a chrysalis.

I did the Disintegration
Theme by playing the GameChimes and pitch shifting the sampled recording.
Fire Theme (from the
Manhattan Pier show)
I sampled the main bed from a Gametones performance at
the Museum of Sound Recording* plus my pitch shifted and layered primal scream.
(real audio will be up soon)

Water Theme (also only in
the Manhattan show)
Sampled from the same Gametones performance*
and a recording that Hugh and I made of banging on cables on the Williamsburg Bridge.
(real audio will be up soon)

The
Pre-Show Theme is Hugh improvising over
an impromptu bed of the Sinomen Theme samples.
